Compass Box was founded in 2000 by John Glaser. The idea of creating a whisky to the customer's taste is as simple as it is brilliant. Whiskies by Compass Box are blends, vatted malts and grains. All Compass Box whisky is produced in limited editions also known as “small batches.” Compass Box purchases individually chosen casks from various distilleries to produce whiskies never seen before in a conventional blend or vatted. The results are truly impressive, and many critics and trade periodicals have nothing but the highest praise for Compass Box as Scotland's most innovative whisky blender.
